A new trademark has been spotted for a Bleach game called “Rebirth of Souls” that appears to be a console release.

A recently discovered trademark hints at a potential new game within the Bleach franchise titled “Rebirth of Souls.” Speculation is arising that this could mark the series’ first fully-fledged console game since 2011’s Soul Resurrección.

With recent releases like Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections and My Hero: Ultra Rumble, along with the anticipation for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, it’s an exciting time for fans of anime and video games. However, games based on popular anime such as Naruto, My Hero Academia, and Dragon Ball are quite common, releasing every couple of years. In contrast, other anime properties don’t follow the same consistent release schedule.

Bleach, while not as popular as titles like Goku and Naruto, remains one of the most influential anime series in recent decades. Despite its influence, it has been a long time since a proper Bleach game was released, with Soul Resurrección in 2011 being the latest one outside of Japan, followed by only iOS and Android games in subsequent years.

Change might be on the horizon, though. A trademark for a game named “Bleach: Rebirth of Souls” has been filed by Shueisha Inc. in Europe, as highlighted by Twitter user Kurakasis. The trademark, with similar “Nice classifications” as recent anime game trademarks, suggests it is indeed a game. While initially speculated to be a PC and console game, Kurakasis later noted that it could just as likely be a mobile game, citing similarities with titles like Naruto x Boruto: Ninja Tribes.

The ambiguity surrounding the platform—whether it’s a major console release or a smaller mobile title—adds to the intrigue. Notably, Bleach already boasts a successful mobile game, Bleach: Brave Souls, which raises questions about whether “Rebirth of Souls” is a separate console game or another Gacha title. Only time will tell, and fans eagerly await the official reveal of “Rebirth of Souls.”
