Yet another GTA San Andreas easter egg has been discovered in Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, this time referencing Big Smoke’s iconic order.

Cyberpunk 2077 fearlessly incorporates subtle references to other gaming classics, and Phantom Liberty is no exception. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas stands among the industry’s influential games, and Cyberpunk 2077 pays homage with numerous Easter eggs dedicated to CJ and the gang. A recent discovery, credited to Reddit user Wave_04, unveils an Easter egg tied to the beloved character Big Smoke.

The Easter egg in question is located on the payphone used to initially contact Solomon Reed. This payphone, a site already featuring other clever Easter eggs, including a nod to The Witcher 3, holds the subtle reference to Big Smoke. Observing the left side of the phone, one will find a sequence of numbers and mathematical symbols.

Initially mistaken by many as a series of math questions needed to unlock a specific number, it is, in fact, simpler than that. Viewing the numbers from a different perspective reveals the sequence: two number nines, a number nine large, a number six, a number seven, and two number 45s.

For those familiar with Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, these numbers recall the iconic fast food order placed by Big Smoke during the mission “Drive-Thru” at Cluckin’ Bell. Despite being a memorable scene in one of the greatest open-world titles, this Easter egg remained undiscovered until now, likely due to its proximity to a payphone.

The continuous discovery of new Easter eggs in Cyberpunk 2077 is not surprising, given the game’s vastness and the ongoing release of DLC. A writer for Cyberpunk 2077 has even hinted that some of his favorite Easter eggs in the game are yet to be found, raising curiosity about how many more remain overlooked by players. It’s time to embark on the hunt once again.
